Residential & Hospitality

Located in historic Bentonville, AR, Blake Street House is a rebuilt home-turned-wellness destination. Thomas Taylor Blake built his home in 1880 on one of the area’s original 166 lots. Capturing many of its original architectural features, the home was not only rebuilt, but expanded by a modernized 12,000-square-foot addition.

The wellness club was created to resemble the comfort of a modern home with a complete list of amenities that members can enjoy including food and beverage venues, steam rooms, a library and coworking space, a gym, sauna, spa, meditation room, pool, and outdoor activity areas.

Renfro Design Group contributed creative lighting designs to each area of the social club, integrating lighting into the space’s architecture to accent form, texture, color, and space. Intricate architectural details are featured strategically. Concealed cove lighting draws lines of light in upper registers of rooms. Architectural glass facades blur the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces, contributing a free flowing transition from one to the other. Each illuminated area of the club offers layers of light, and offers an end result of a modern, elegant, and welcoming haven.
