“Quicktake: Rodarte,” explored the work of the designers and Laura and Kate Mulleavy, offering a glimpse into their process and inspiration. Winners of the Cooper Hewitt's 2010 National Design Award for Fashion, Rodarte are known for their complex manipulation of materials and meticulous techniques, evocative of haute couture through an American lens. The show was the second in a series of "Quicktake" exhibits aimed at moving important contemporary works into the museum quickly.
