Jenny Stafford, Associate & Project Manager
Member, illuminating engineering society (IES)
Jenny's journey with RDG began as an intern in 2009, transitioning into a full-time role in 2012. Throughout her tenure as an Associate Project Manager since 2019, Jenny has been steadfast in her commitment to crafting lighting designs that seamlessly integrate with and enhance the surrounding architecture. With a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Cincinnati, she brings both knowledge and a personal touch to her projects. She possesses a natural fascination with the evolution of lighting technology and the distinctive design challenges it unveils.
Outside the realm of lighting design, Jenny's natural inclination for detail and problem-solving takes shape through her love for completing jigsaw puzzles. At weekends she can be found immersed in her local pottery studio, shaping clay into functional pieces of art, or snorkeling in Otsego Lake in pursuit of discarded treasures.
Jenny's hands-on engagement extends to numerous projects, including High Jewelry Exhibits, where her touch ensures a blend of functionality and aesthetics. Recent milestones under her guidance include the completion of the Mwabwindo School, NYPL Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library, and The American Museum of Natural History – Alison and Roberto Mignone Halls of Gems and Minerals and Northwest Coast Hall.
