Matthew Caraway, Lighting Designer

Matthew joined RDG in 2016, bringing a dynamic approach to architectural lighting design and creating a balance between the technical and aesthetic considerations of any project. Previously, he held a research specialist position at the Lighting Research Center at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where his work dealt with the physiological and emotional response to lighting technologies.

In recent years, Matthew has focused more on control systems and UV applications, tacking onto his 10+ years of experience in theatrical lighting design. Matthew has been a part of the design team on projects such as the Maritime Aquarium, New York Public Library, and Blake St. House.
