The Salmagundi Club of New York, founded as an instructional sketch class in 1871, has occupied their landmark, double-wide brownstone since 1917. RDG was part of the design team for the restoration and renovation of their main gallery space as well as it’s annex. Updated finishes, a new central laylight as well as a new, state-of-the-art, museum-quality LED lighting system enhance the space for events, classes and teaching demonstrations. This overhaul updates the club’s premier, historic space for exhibiting the works of members and renowned artists from across the country.
